When we speak of Avatars, we always expect miracles from Them."It is the ignorant,limited ,egoistic conciousness which demands miracles.

As soon as one is enlightened one knows that everywhere and always there is a miracle"(Mother).

From their very birth their mission is found and formed. You see them not swerving an inch from that. They do not want to reason. They speak direct. They have intense faith in themselves. We cannot understand it. When they speak, each word is direct.Sometimes they do not speak at all,yet they convey the Truth form Mind to Mind. The man Gods are the real Gods of all Nations and all races(Swami Vivekananda)…so true

Sri Amma made Her advent at 7.45AM on Wednesday on 9th October 1940 during Navarathri Saraswathy puja.

His Holiness Sri Chandrashekara Swamigal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam,popularly known to all as Paramacharya, declared Her as Akilandeshwari incarnate following a meeting with Her when She was hardly 15years of age.She gently reminded His Holiness that as per Her promise to Him eons ago after the Thadanga pradishtai was done for Her by Him,She would appear in front of Him at the appropriate time.(Thatanga Pradishtaa was done bySri Adhi Shankara to Her Grace Akilandeshwari at Thiruvanaikovil some 1500 years ago.She was referring to that incident).Divinity was revealed to all on a Shiva rathri day.

"You call Her Goddess,but in what way is She different?She is just like us" the ignorant may think.But the following lines will provide them the answer.

"The representatives of God, we find that their bodies and minds are like glass cases through which shines the Cosmic Spirit-a wonderful blending of the Personality and Principle.In their case the Super Consciousness is manifest through the Conscious and if we are attracted to their human aspects,we will come in touch with the Divine aspect in due course.The difference between Mahatmas and humans is this:Mahatmas do not associate themselves with their bodies unlike humans. Their Mission is known to them from the time of their birth. They are aware of the Past Present and Future.The thought that they are but Infinite Conciousness is always prevalent in their minds.They need not have formal education,all learning ,knowledge and manthras are within them.

WHY?

When we see such persons even for a couple of minutes ,peace comes to our rebellious mind! Where does it come from?Before Them the uncontrollable mind becomes still-How?When we see SRI AMMA why do we want to remain always looking at HER? Why does an inexplicable joy arise in our hearts and engulfs us when we see Her? That is Divinity at work…….

PARENTS:

When God incarnates in Human form,only pious and virtuous people are chosen as parents.Sri Amma's parents Sri T.S.Ramachandran and Smt.Jayalakshmi Ammal were the doting parents bestowed with the "Divine Child".Being a close knit family they cherished and supported Her all through her eventful child and adulthood.Scores of devotees who thronged to see Sri Amma were welcomed with due respect.
